It was great to have D visiting, also spending some quality time with my friends this weekend, just talking about nothing in particular, childhood memories, love, work.

My vacations this week were cancelled, that really got me, but then, it was the most likely outcome, however It’s ok, all this weeks scheduled tasks were completed on sunday so I won’t have to worry about that. However, it puts me in a crashing course with january’s, I won’t be able to do it, guess I’ll had to redraw and write off it.

But my life looks more like a calm sea than a stormy ocean…

-D suggested an open relationship, would be silly to have it otherwise, we are living 400 miles apart and our feelings for each other are still going strong even a year had passed.
-Enter G, we have good chemistry, certainly my type, but there’s something on that “no-pressure” approach that just get me everytime, having someone that doesn’t want to get laid with me is amusing.
Payments, I let it go, now starting to focus on income rather than all I’ve to pay, I’ll have to rent my other room, That sucks , and I won’t be able to host as many people from Couchsurfing, maybe ceasing to host at all :( but need to be done.
-Got 400 in my RAC pipeline, that should cover mid february deficit.
-I want a child, considering options, marriage is not just me, nor a lifelong relationship, maybe with the right one, but, I’m tired of looking, companions are far less stressful, M wants to have a son before she gets too old, we discussed it yesterday, why not, been friends since ever.

Spiral stair

Was waiting for my coffe cup to fill when I “remembered” this:

A kid is going up trough a spiral staircase surrounding a column that seem to stretch forever upwards, the kid briefly put his hand on the column surface and a video starts to shown translucent on the surface, I can’t hear what the woman is saying, there’s a date on the left corner, the kids drags his finger and a small area surrounding the video starts to show a timeline, the kid plays with it, get bored and goes up playing with the surface that activates wherever his fingers touch the surface, now I’m looking behind the kid, there’s a lot of people doing the same.

Arnaud & Juanita

Arnaud and Juanita arrived yesterday. They made a lovely couple. He’s a tall husky blond and she’s a petite slim brunnette. After preparing dinner I took them upstairs to see the city at night. They stayed a little late watching a movie while I worked at my desk.

This morning I went with Arnaud to get made a copy of the apartment’s key. They are from a town in the south of france, been traveling for 3 months starting in Mexico. They are bound to travel to Colombia after Panama and the long term plan is to travel for a year. Time, it seems, they have plenty, it was an observation made by Arnaud. Arnaud had work in South Africa, in a factory of sorts, but it seems he doesn’t enjoy sharing too much personal info, however he’s truthful and quite observant, wondering if he has photographic memory, he remembered perfectly even the detail numbers in the key even I only showed it to him for a second.

I wrote Liron but she already had departed to Ecuador, next week Mariana arrives to see the Soda Stereo concert and a guy from Israel is scheduled for next week.

Going up on pounds…

Mom had visit me every other weekend, and she insists I’m lacking weight so she gaves me all this homemade food I’d gain in a month what took me four months to shred!!!!!

1. What did I fail?

Nothing. I acomplished everything I wanted to.

2. What am I resisting?

Nothing.

3. What did I do well?
Stuck to my schedule. Finished everything I wanted to finish this week. Made progress towards next week’s goals. Overdeliver. Completed all the contracts I made with myself.

4. What can I do better?
Repeat this success more often…

5. Were you the person you want to be during the past week?
Yes.

6. Did I get closer to achieving my short, medium, and long-term goals?
Short: My Thesis. I delivered the text and completed a demo.
Medium: I got an agreement with my boss about the payment of my allowances and with that info scheduled payments on my credit cards, sent a complaint letter to my ISP about the situation with my account.
Long term: Back in my two feets, only one credit card, looking for a new 8-6 job, starting another career, being sucessful with my freelance work, travel trough Central America for a month doing volunteer work.

7. What am I grateful for?
Making my dreams real, at least the ones I know I can.

1. What did I fail?

-Handling monday’s crisis properly

2. What am I resisting?

-Avoiding the confrontation required to get the office to pay the allowances they owe me and get my finances into balance.

3. What did I do well?
-Cleaned the house, well I was manic (still I am I think hehehe, I’d rearranged my books a dozen times in the last two hours)

4. What can I do better?
-Stick to my schedule

5. Were you the person you want to be during the past week?
-No, I lose my cool hahahaha, that shouldn’t had happened, I used to handle the office stress quite well, guess is the lack of sex hehehe.

6. Did I get closer to achieving my short, medium, and long-term goals?
Short: Finish my thesis, nop
Medium: Go back in balance, nop, being avoiding that meeting with my boss.
Long term: I don’t even want to see beyond december, and I’m running out of time, only less than 50 days to change things.

7. What am I grateful for?
Spending a week with beautiful minds, devoting the weekend to my home.
